KENPO MONTH - How Exciting!

Written three days before the newest internet martial arts strike on The Ultimate Kenpo Alliance!

The Kenpo month of May is almost upon us. A movement has been started and the wrecking ball is almost ready to drop member's of the Ultimate Kenpo Alliance having only three days notice to prepare. The challenge on the website, The Ultimate Kenpo Alliance (UKA), is to only post on Kenpo topics. This is on a board that has experienced an ongoing struggle between kenpo people and the other martial arts posters. Although the movement is not expressed as being against other posters, still it remains that posting on other subjects could be limited if agreed to only. This is on a community that has evolved and agreed previously to include other subjects. So far, the kick boxers made an impressive show with last years strike for the right to post on their topics. However this time "the others," including the kick boxers, are being remarkably quiet. Not their usual game plan! Do they have a little something up their canvas sleeves or not? It remains to be seen

Although initially off to a slow start, more people have signed on to participate. Look at the people signing onto the movement that, hopefully, we can expect posts from! I am only including the names of people who posted in agreement after it is mentioned they should also make a kenpo post and not just agree that it is a kenpo month!

The intention of a couple of members is not quite clear. Monty, the effervescent black belt, agrees not to burp immediately. That is strong action although it may not be understood by the outsiders looking in. There is no mention if he is out or in for kenpo month. Ernesto, the man building a fighting record, signed on but says he does not have time to post anyway. Although he is in heavy training, it remains to be seen if he makes a "post comeback" sometime during the month and comes up with some kenpo.

Let's take a look at who is actually in the ring! Jarrettle Glaz is ready and is the brain behind this current kenpo movement. David Hemmings states that is ready for a kenpo month! Also signing on is Yip Yap, Zingy Wilton, Bobby Boy, Alec Newberry, Yuk Soo Man Lee, Young Jack Keroway, Raymond Schaff, and Kiki Tashara!

So far almost no opposition is offered from posters of other subjects. Is a challenge in order to offer an enemy to the kenpo posters to fight!? Will it simply be a classic struggle of the individual against themselves to offer a kenpo post of significance during the weeks ahead? Will there be a match to see who can make more martial arts topic posts versus the kenpo posters?

The audience awaits a fight that has no precedent here on UKA. I look forward to the developments when we are actually in the big ring showing some action!
